Description

Blocked by edX UX team running card design session.

Design variants of the card component in Figma to include a "save for later" iconButton.

This variant should have flexibility and be able to use any icon within the iconButton. The icon should be housed inside the image cap sub-component of the card.

Questions to consider while designing this variant:

  • Should there be light and dark versions?
  • What does it look like in the horizontal card variant?
  • Should it have any other constraints?

  • Should it have any other specific flexibility?

Research direction

Start with the linked Paragon Design System Figma file and review the existing card component and prior design work. Resolve the listed light/dark, horizontal-card, constraint, and flexibility questions with the edX UX team, then produce the agreed card variant with a flexible iconButton in the image cap.
