Description
Soft and force upgrades don't seem to be working as expected, here are the details incase of:
Soft upgrade
- the register page shows a full-screen blocking error asking to upgrade the app
- the app doesn't allow login or forgot password flow
- the only way to log in is to enter the credentials, upon seeing the error killing the app and then reopening it
- the main dashboard with enrolled courses keeps on loading
- the upgrade option in the settings area sometimes shows that there is an update available, but in most cases it says the app is up-to-date.
Force upgrade
- in the logged-in experience the app doesn't show any indication for the user to upgrade the app, just says something went wrong
- in settings, the upgrade option only appears the first time the screen is opened, for subsequent times it says the app is up-to-date
