Description

Working plan, proposed here - https://github.com/openedx/openedx-platform/issues/37931 :

  • Phase 0 - migration is available - Ulmo
    • Warnings added in Verawood
  • Phase 1 - legacy libraries cannot be viewed or edited - Willow
    • new legacy content cannot be linked
    • existing legacy libraries can be migrated
    • existing links still work, can still be migrated to V2
  • Phase 2 - legacy libraries are deleted - "Y" release
    • legacy libraries can no longer be migrated
    • existing legacy library content in courses still works, but it is not a link any more, just static content

To explore: Automatic migration in during upgrade from Xylon to "Y" to prevent data loss?
