Research direction

The issue names no repository files or tests; start by reviewing the reported Ubuntu, Python 3.9, pip 21.2.1, and opencv-python 4.7.0.72 installation details and the attached error image. Reproduce the wheel-build failure and inspect the automated packaging toolchain. Done means the package installs successfully in the reported environment.
