opencv-python doesn't have GUI ?

Hi! I am trying to install the GUI version of opencv-python as opposed to the non-GUI version called opencv-python-headless. However, no matter which version of opencv-python I install, the GUI is not always present. I had to go back to version 4.5.5.64 to find a wheel that has some sort of GUI.

Am I doing something wrong?

The report names the opencv-python wheel versions 4.5.5.64 through 4.8.0.74 and the cv2.getBuildInformation() command; start by reproducing those installations and comparing the GUI sections. The payload names no repository files or tests, so done would require identifying why GUI support changed and documenting or correcting the expected wheel behavior.
