Description
https://github.com/opencontainers/runtime-spec/blob/main/config.md#linux-mount-options
ridmap
SHOULD
Indicates that the mount has uidMappings and gidMappings specified, and the mapping is applied recursively 3. This option SHOULD NOT be passed to the underlying mount(2) call. If supported, the runtime MUST return an error if this option is provided and either of uidMappings or gidMappings are empty or not present.

Research direction
Start with the linked runtime-spec section on Linux mount options, then locate runc's mount handling and existing uidMappings and gidMappings support. The work is done when ridmap is recognized, mappings are applied recursively as specified, ridmap is not passed to mount(2), and invalid empty or missing mappings return an error.
