Description

Let's write some instructions how you can use a multimeter to probe whether your soldering job is good:

  • What to measure (continuity) before powering for the first time
  • What to measure (voltage) when parts or the whole OBS doesn't start up properly
  • What to measure to exclude specific failures (GPS power, Display power, maybe SDA/SCL pullups...)

  3. Fork the repository and make your change on a branch.
  4. Open a pull request that references the issue number.

Research direction

Use the issue body as the scope for the documentation: cover continuity checks before first power-on, voltage checks when the OBS does not start, and checks for GPS power, display power, and SDA/SCL pull-ups. Done means the project has clear multimeter instructions for each listed situation; the target documentation file or page is not specified in the issue.
