A Cloud Work execution is permanently displayed as "In progress" in the ChatGPT Windows app and also on the smartphone app.
The same execution is correctly stopped when I open the conversation on chatgpt.com with Firefox.
Execution started: September 17, 2026 at approximately 17:57 (UTC+2, France).
Windows: Windows 10

Troubleshooting already performed:

• Stopped the execution successfully from chatgpt.com
• Repaired the Windows app
• Reset the Windows app
• Logged out of all active sessions and logged back in
• Verified the app is up to date
• No pending approval is displayed
• No Stop/Cancel button is available in the apps
• No corresponding recent transcript exists in .codex/sessions or archived_sessions
  The issue persists on both the Windows and smartphone apps, while the web version shows the execution as stopped.

Reproduce the Cloud Work execution across the ChatGPT Windows app, smartphone app, and chatgpt.com using the reported Windows 10 setup and app version. Check the .codex/sessions and archived_sessions locations noted in the report; done means the execution has the same stopped state across all clients and can be controlled consistently.
