Summary
Computer Use plugin is not available on ChatGPT desktop app (Intel macOS). Computer Use settings show Chrome/Excel/Locked use, but no “Any App”; Locked use can’t be enabled.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open ChatGPT desktop app → switch to Codex
2. Go to Plugins
3. Search for “computer use”
4. Open Settings → Computer use and try enabling Locked use

Expected

1. “Computer Use” plugin appears in Plugins and can be installed/enabled
2. Settings → Computer use shows “Any App”
3. Locked use can be enabled after install + permissions

Actual

1. No “Computer Use” plugin appears in plugin search
2. Settings → Computer use has no “Any App”
3. Enabling Locked use fails (“Unable to update Locked use”)

Reproduce the issue in the Codex desktop app on an Intel Mac, using the Plugins and Computer use settings steps in the report. Inspect ~/Library/Logs/com.openai.codex/YYYY/MM/DD and the reported marketplace and managed-service errors. Done means Computer Use appears, Any App is available, and Locked use can be enabled after permissions.
