Description
What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
26.911.61220
What subscription do you have?
Pro
What platform is your computer?
macos
What issue are you seeing?
After the last update the chat command button changed, now it's a.. voice command? --I have that entirely off-- and whenever we start typing it turns into the submit button; such movement grabs my attention and it's very hard to focus on what I'm typing.
I have no need for voice commands and I prefer the button to remain entirely quiet
What steps can reproduce the bug?
1/ open a new chat session
2/ start typing
expectation, nothing in the UI moves
current behaviour, the submit button moves
What is the expected behavior?
UI elements remain calm and stable during the entire session; only reacting when human-initiated interaction require visual feedback

Research direction
Start by locating the chat composer and its send or voice-command button behavior in the Codex App, then reproduce the issue by opening a new chat and typing. Trace the UI update that changes the button while typing and verify the finished behavior on macOS: the button remains visually stable and only reacts to deliberate interaction.
