What issue are you seeing?

I am a ChatGPT Plus subscriber.

Codex CLI has been unusable for several days.

Every model I select returns:

"Selected model is at capacity. Please try a different model."

I have tested multiple models and the issue persists.

The problem does not appear to be limited to a single model.

I have re-authenticated and tried again, but the problem remains.

Start by reproducing the failure in Codex CLI 0.154.0 with a Plus account, then run codex doctor and inspect the provider reachability and Responses WebSocket diagnostics. Done means the affected account can select a model without repeatedly receiving the capacity message, with the relevant diagnostic behavior documented or covered by a regression test.
