Research direction

Start with Feedback ID 01a0aaaf-7317-78d2-b7a9-12399add74d1 and reproduce on Windows using the reported Codex App version. Investigate what happens when the subagent is opened from the chat rather than the Subagents panel; done means the chat remains visible without requiring the agent to finish or the app to be restarted.
