Description

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.911.61220 Released Sep 16, 2026

What subscription do you have?

ChatGPT Pro — CA$136/month

What platform is your computer?

Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26200.0 x64

What issue are you seeing?

For almost a week, I have had 100% of my Spark usage available, but I have been unable to select or use Spark in the Codex app.

The model selector is not working correctly and Spark is not available to me even though my Spark usage remains at 100%.

Yesterday, Luna (Reserve) suddenly appeared as an available model, but Spark was still missing.

Today, the app appeared to crash completely. After reopening it, I saw that an update was available. I updated the app to version 26.911.61220, but the issue is still not resolved.

I am a ChatGPT Pro subscriber paying CA$136/month. I am paying for this service and have available usage/credits that I cannot use because the model I need is unavailable.

This has blocked my development work for almost a week and has caused real disruption to my production project.

I have already submitted a support ticket and sent product feedback, but the problem has still not been fixed.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Feedback ID: 01a08d7b-b5c0-7e92-b05a-8971fe17238f

What is the expected behavior?

As a ChatGPT Pro subscriber with 100% of my Spark usage available, I should be able to select and use Spark normally in the Codex app.

The model selector should display all models that my account is entitled to use.

An app update, restart, or temporary model availability change should not leave my paid usage inaccessible.

Additional information

This is not only a UI inconvenience. It has made a paid service effectively unusable for me for almost a week.

I pay CA$136/month for ChatGPT Pro and specifically rely on Codex for active software development. My Spark usage is still showing 100% available, but I cannot actually use it.

Because of this issue, my development work has been blocked and my production project has been delayed. I have paid for access that I have been unable to use.

I already submitted a support ticket and product feedback before opening this GitHub issue, but the issue remains unresolved.

Please investigate my account/model entitlement state and restore my Spark access.

I would also appreciate appropriate restoration or compensation for the paid service/usage period that I was unable to use because of this issue.

I can provide screenshots, support ticket details, logs, or any other diagnostic information required.

Research direction

No source files, tests, or code entry points are named. Start by reviewing feedback ID 01a08d7b-b5c0-7e92-b05a-8971fe17238f and reproducing the model-selector behavior on Windows with the reported Pro account; done means an entitled Spark model is displayed and selectable without the app update or restart removing access.
