Codex doctor report

What issue are you seeing?

Codex CLI consistently returns the following error on one specific ChatGPT account: Selected model is at capacity.
Please try a different model. This does not appear to be a general model-capacity or local-machine issue. I tested the following:

  • Creating a completely new Codex session does not fix the problem.
  • Using the same affected account on another computer produces the same error.
  • Other ChatGPT accounts work normally on the same computer and network.
  • The problem therefore appears to follow the affected account rather than the device, local Codex configuration, session, or network.
What steps can reproduce the bug?

Research direction

Start by reviewing the uploaded thread 019d994a-e656-7312-a974-020ed7e2087f and the account-versus-device comparisons in the report. Confirm the account-specific reproduction across models and sessions, then establish the expected behavior and a verifiable resolution for the capacity error.
