macOS 27 - Golden Gate

What issue are you seeing?

I created a new conversation around making a graphic novel. It had been making good progress, but started crashing after a certain point. Every time I click on the conversation in the left pane, it crashes again.

Just before the latest crash, the app logged “Conversation state not found.”

Research direction

Start by reviewing diagnosis.txt and ChatGPT-2026-09-16-104050.ips.txt, then reproduce the crash by opening the “Create Lovecraft graphic novel” conversation in the macOS app. Trace the “Conversation state not found” condition and verify that selecting the conversation no longer crashes and allows it to open normally.
