Description

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.908.70816

What subscription do you have?

Plus

What platform is your computer?

Windows 11 25H2

What issue are you seeing?

Almost all the responses are in html. Especially the ones I need to copy. I cannot work at all. Also, some of my chats that were part of a custom GPT are not part of that GPT anymore. This hurt my work and caused too many issues trying to create websites and softwares.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Feedback ID: no-active-thread-01a0a9b7-6c33-7d03-aa08-9274250c65b2

What is the expected behavior?

Provide html instead of the prompt or text that is needed to copy and use. Provides files as a link not a file to download. Everything is a mess. Analyze tabs open all the time before they were automatically closed which were great.

Additional information

Please fix this ASAP as it is hurting my work at a severe level.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the report in Codex App version 26.908.70816 on Windows 11 25H2, using feedback ID no-active-thread-01a0a9b7-6c33-7d03-aa08-9274250c65b2. Investigate the HTML responses, file-link behavior, custom GPT chat association, and automatically closed tabs; done means the affected responses, downloads, chats, and tabs behave as expected.
