New ChatGPT Desktop Personalization showing Codex settings instead of ChatGPT settings

What issue are you seeing?

Hi, I’m experiencing what appears to be a UI/settings issue in the new ChatGPT Desktop app for macOS.

Even when I’m clearly inside ChatGPT, not Codex, when I open:

Settings → Personalization

the page only shows Codex-related settings, including:

Codex instructions
Codex memory
Enable local memories
Allow local memory generation from tool-assisted chats

I cannot see the regular ChatGPT personalization options, such as my ChatGPT memory/personalization settings.

I’ve attached screenshots showing that I’m inside ChatGPT and that the Personalization page is displaying Codex settings.

This seems to be either a UI routing issue or an incorrect settings context in the unified ChatGPT/Codex desktop app.

Please confirm whether this is expected behavior or a bug.

Select ChatGPT in the top-left product selector.
Open Settings.
Go to Personalization.
The screen displays Codex personalization settings instead of ChatGPT personalization settings.

Reproduce the issue in the ChatGPT Desktop app on macOS by selecting ChatGPT, opening Settings, and going to Personalization. Trace the Settings → Personalization entry point and product context, then verify that ChatGPT shows ChatGPT configurations while Codex shows Codex configurations.
