Description
What issue are you seeing?
Codex Android: Remote chat list is incomplete, unstable, and incorrectly sorted
When using Remote on Android:
The session list intermittently omits current chats.
An ongoing chat sometimes appears, then disappears after a few seconds.
Recently active chats sometimes appear at the bottom.
Impact: It’s difficult to find and reliably return to ongoing remote work.
Device OS: Android 17.
Device: Pixel 7
Desktop Host OS: Windows 11 pro ( 2 desktops)
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Install codex on 2 desktop computers. Install codex on a mobile device and enable the remote feature. Connect both desktops to the android app, and then set up periodic automations/scheduled tasks on both machines. Use the mobile app to monitor the scheduled tasks periodically ( say every 5 to ,10 mins), then you will notice the issues.
Related issue: https://github.com/openai/codex/issues/24454
What is the expected behavior?
All available sessions remain visible, with the most recently active conversation at the top.

Reproduce the issue using two desktop hosts, the Android app, and scheduled tasks as described. Start by inspecting the remote session-list flow and the related issue #24454; done means all available sessions remain visible and the most recently active conversation stays at the top.
