Description

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.901.51231

What subscription do you have?

Business

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 25.2.0 arm64 arm

What issue are you seeing?

When both the sidebar and the right-hand side panel are open, the percentage label in the Status popup overlaps the usage progress bar.

The attached screenshot shows “64% left” overlapping the patterned portion of the “7d limit” bar, making the percentage difficult to read.

What steps can reproduce the bug?
  1. Open the Codex desktop app.
  2. Open both the sidebar (left) and the right-hand side panel.
  3. Open the Status popup /status.
  4. Look at the progress bar and percentage label in the “7d limit” row.
What is the expected behavior?

The progress bar and percentage label should remain separate and readable when both panels are open. The layout should adapt to the available width without overlapping.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue in the Codex desktop app by opening both panels, then run the /status entry point and inspect the 7d limit row layout. Done means the progress bar and percentage label remain separate and readable at the reported window configuration.
