Description

What version of the Codex App are you using?

26.908.4834.0

What subscription do you have?

ChatGPT Pro

What platform is your computer?

Windows 11 23H2, build 22631.6199, x64

What issue are you seeing?

When the sub-agent view is fully expanded, the text input field overlaps the bottom of the response and partially covers its Copy button. The button is still clickable, but the overlap makes it harder to access and leaves the layout looking unfinished.

What steps can reproduce the bug?
  1. Have a sub-agent generate a long response.
  2. Open the sub-agent view and expand it fully.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the response.
  4. Observe the input field overlapping the response and Copy button.
What is the expected behavior?

The end of the response and its Copy button should remain clearly visible and easy to access above the input field.

Research direction

Reproduce this on Windows 11 using the Codex app: generate a long sub-agent response, fully expand its view, and scroll to the bottom. Inspect the expanded sub-agent view layout and adjust it so the response end and Copy button remain visible above the input field; verify the same reproduction steps no longer show overlap.
