Description

Uso o aplicativo Codex no Windows 11.

No diagnóstico de 13/09/2026:

  • Versão observada: 26.908.4834.0.
  • Sandbox: elevated.
  • Erro: helper_unknown_error: apply deny-read ACLs.
  • O arquivo .codex/.sandbox/deny_read_acl_state.json continha 22 bytes NUL.
  • Logs: “parse deny-read ACL state” e “expected value at line 1 column 1”.

Research direction

Start with the Windows sandbox failure described in the issue, especially .codex/.sandbox/deny_read_acl_state.json and the “parse deny-read ACL state” logs. Trace the elevated sandbox setup and recovery entry points, then define a supported repair path that preserves protections, tasks, and data without requiring users to delete internal files.
