What issue are you seeing?

For the past two days, Codex has been frequently stopping or interrupting tasks while I am working on Unreal Engine projects.

This did not happen before. I have been using Codex for Unreal Engine development for a long time, including C++, Blueprint-related work, Python/UE automation, debugging, and project modifications, and the workflow was previously stable.

Recently, however, the Pro account frequently stops in the middle of tasks, loses the ability to continue execution, or returns messages saying that it cannot continue even though the same type of task worked normally before.

What makes this especially strange is that when I switch to my Plus account on the same computer and perform similar tasks, I do not experience the same frequent interruptions.

This currently appears to be specific to my Pro account rather than my Unreal Engine project or PC.

The issue started approximately two days ago. Before that, the same Unreal Engine workflow was working normally.https://chatgpt.com/s/cx_6aa54807cd6c8191b861fc16ab2e2c53

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Feedback ID: 01a09061-e7f9-70f1-ad7a-8173ea3481b0

What is the expected behavior?

Codex should be able to continue Unreal Engine development tasks normally without repeatedly stopping or losing execution capability.

I expect the Pro account to provide at least the same level of reliability as the Plus account when performing the same type of task on the same machine.

The behavior should also remain consistent with how Codex was working on this account before the issue started two days ago.1. Sign in to Codex App using my ChatGPT Pro account.
2. Open an Unreal Engine development task that requires Codex to inspect or modify project files, code, Blueprint-related logic, or UE/Python workflows.
3. Ask Codex to continue working through the task.
4. After a short period, Codex may unexpectedly stop, refuse to continue, lose execution capability, or require me to restart/retry the workflow.
5. Repeat similar work on my Plus account on the same PC.

Result:
The Pro account experiences frequent interruptions, while the Plus account does not appear to have the same issue.

I have reproduced this across multiple Unreal Engine tasks over the past two days. These types of tasks worked normally before.

Additional information

I am a long-time ChatGPT/Codex user and an Unreal Engine developer. I also received an Epic MegaGrant for one of my projects, and I use GPT/Codex extensively as part of my development workflow.

I have been using the desktop client and Codex since their earlier releases, and Unreal Engine development tasks previously worked normally for me.

The main reason I am reporting this is the sudden change in behavior: the issue only started within the last two days, and my Plus account does not appear to show the same problem on the same machine.

Because of this, I am concerned that this may be account-specific rather than an Unreal Engine or local environment issue.

I can provide screenshots, session IDs, or additional logs if needed.‘

Research direction

Start with the reported Feedback ID 01a09061-e7f9-70f1-ad7a-8173ea3481b0 and the linked Codex session, then compare the same Unreal Engine tasks on the Pro and Plus accounts. Request the missing platform details, screenshots, session IDs, and logs, and verify whether interruptions reproduce across the reported tasks. Done means the account-specific stopping behavior is explained and Codex can complete comparable tasks consistently.
