Description

What variant of Codex are you using?

Desktop

What feature would you like to see?

Currently the only way to open a link displayed on an in-app browser page in external browser is to right click > Open in external browser.

Having a keyboard shortuct for this would speed up the workflow.

Something like Cmd(Mac)/Ctrl(Linux/Window) + Shift + Click could work.

Research direction

Start by locating the desktop in-app browser's link handling and the existing right-click "Open in external browser" action. Add the Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Click path for links, then verify that it opens externally on macOS, Linux, and Windows without changing ordinary clicks.
