Description
What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
26.903.8094.0
What subscription do you have?
Pro
What platform is your computer?
Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26200.0 (x64)
What issue are you seeing?
When six or more PDF files are attached in the Codex Windows desktop app, only the first few attachment cards are visible. There is no usable way to scroll horizontally and inspect the later files before sending.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
- Open a new conversation in the Codex Windows desktop app.
- Attach six blank PDF files.
- Look at the attachment list in the composer.
- Try to view the PDF files beyond the visible area.
- Try horizontal scrolling with the mouse or trackpad.
Only the first few PDF files are visible. The later files cannot be viewed or managed.
A code snippet is not applicable because this is a desktop UI issue.
What is the expected behavior?
The attachment list should provide a way to view all attached PDF files.
Possible solutions include horizontal scrolling, left and right navigation buttons, or wrapping the attachments into multiple rows.
Users should be able to inspect and remove any attached PDF before sending the message.
Additional information
This issue is reproducible with six blank demo PDF files.
Environment:
- Codex App version: 26.903.8094.0
- Platform: Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26200.0 (x64)
- UI language: Chinese
This appears to be a desktop composer layout issue, not a PDF content or upload failure.

Research direction
No files or tests are named. Reproduce the issue in the Windows desktop composer with six blank PDFs, then locate the attachment-list UI and inspect how items beyond the visible area are laid out and managed. Done means every attached PDF can be viewed and removed before sending, including files beyond the initial visible area.
