Description

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.903.61454

What subscription do you have?

x20 PRO

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 25.6.0 arm64 arm

What issue are you seeing?
Image

Device toolbar is getting reset automatically and in uncontrolled way. I may have tasks for specific view, which is very hard to continue as every single task being finished resets it to normal default view with CLOSED toolbar.

It becomes extremely irritating when I have to set a view after every front-end change I am making.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Perform any task, the toolbar is reset to default view.

What is the expected behavior?

If I set some specific toolbar settings, these should be maintained until I close the integrated browser tab, or close the toolbar.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue in the integrated browser by configuring a specific device toolbar view and completing a task. Trace where the toolbar state is reset after task completion; done means the selected settings remain until the integrated browser tab or toolbar is closed.
