What issue are you seeing?

I ran the first-party $codex-security:security-diff-scan skill against staged changes in my own local repository. The scan passed preflight, reviewed the change using multiple workers, and began validating a possible finding. Its results were then replaced by the “This content can't be shown” cybersecurity safety message.

The review was read-only and limited to my local repository, disposable PostgreSQL test databases, and an in-process HTTP client. No external or production systems were accessed.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

What is the expected behavior?

The Codex Security skill should display its completed findings and coverage, or provide a specific recoverable error. An authorized defensive review of local source code should not lose its results to a generic safety block.

Additional information

Codex Security plugin version 0.1.23. Codex Doctor reports overallStatus: ok, and version 0.153.4 is the current available version. I also submitted in-product feedback from the affected task. No credentials, external targets, production systems, or third-party data were involved.

The issue names no source file or test; start by reproducing the Codex CLI security diff scan with a change that triggers the safety check, then trace where scan results are filtered. Done means the results remain visible when the safety check runs, with a regression test covering that path.
