What issue are you seeing?

The prompt is barely visible because it doesn't adapt to the Dark appearance. At least the background / foreground should be updated once in a while, or on next

Or from Dark to Light:

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1. Start codex in Light appearance
2. Toggle Dark appearance in settings, or from the control center
3. See other colors changing to dark mode, not the prompt

What is the expected behavior?

codex is aware of the background / foreground change, either by regularly probing, or by other mechanism, like the contour protocol for palette update.
