What issue are you seeing?
This has happened a few times. I start a voice chat, network changes, then the voice chat seems to stay active but it loses its ability to call the thinking model as a tool. The symptom is that it just says "checking that" is response to everything without actually being able to check anything.
Since the change to being able to voice chat in regular chats, this manifests in losing the functionality of the chat altogether. It becomes idle but shows the "Thinking" text wave animation endlessly.
This seems to make voice chat unusable on mobile internet while driving as eventually this problem will trigger.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Start a voice chat, change networks.
What is the expected behavior?
works

Research direction
No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reproducing the issue on Windows by beginning a voice chat and changing networks, then trace why the chat remains active while tool calls and the Thinking state stop progressing. Done means voice chat continues working after a network change or recovers cleanly instead of remaining indefinitely idle.
