[macOS Desktop] Files entry missing for project tasks in custom sidebar Sections

Environment

• App: Codex in the ChatGPT desktop app for macOS
• App version: 26.901.51231 (build 8109)
• macOS: 27.0

Observed behavior

I observed that local-project tasks organized in custom sidebar Sections do not show the Files entry in the right-hand panel. The panel offers Side chat and Browser instead. Project tasks outside custom Sections do show Files.

The affected tasks still belong to a local Project. Here, Section refers to the sidebar grouping option in the task's context menu, where Project and Section appear as separate options.

Steps to inspect the issue

1. Open an affected task that belongs to a local Project and is organized in a custom sidebar Section.
2. Open the right-hand panel's tab launcher.
3. Observe that Files is missing, while Side chat and Browser are available.
4. Compare this with a project task outside a custom Section, where Files is available.

This describes the observed comparison. Moving the same task into and out of a Section has not yet been verified as a controlled reproduction.

Expected behavior

Organizing a task in a custom sidebar Section should preserve file browsing when the task remains associated with its local Project and folder.

No source files or tests are named. First reproduce the missing Files entry by comparing a local-project task inside and outside a custom sidebar Section, then trace the desktop tab-launcher logic. Done means Files remains available when a task stays associated with its local Project and folder.
