[MacOS Desktop App] multiple projects are missing chats, report "no project chats"

Desktop app fails to display chats within some Projects

Multiple existing Projects show “No project chats” in the ChatGPT desktop app even though I know they contain chats.

The chats that should be in the project are found by global search in the desktop app. When opened from search, the breadcrumb correctly shows that they belong to a Project.
Project chats are correctly displayed in the ChatGPT web interface.

Therefore the chats and their Project associations are intact; the problem appears limited to enumeration/display of Project chats in the desktop client.

Restarting/reloading does not resolve it.

This affects multiple Projects, seemingly those that have not been active for a while. More active projects show chats.

Start by reproducing the issue in the macOS desktop app using version 26.901.31953 and Feedback ID no-active-thread-01a07a11-b0a6-7cb1-9d55-91f1b5055aba. Compare project chat enumeration with global search and the web interface; done means existing chats appear under every affected Project without requiring recent activity.
