Add stickers and AI-editable memes to Codex conversations

What feature would you like to see?

I would love to see first-class support for stickers and memes in Codex conversations, similar to common messaging apps.

The feature could include:

• A sticker/meme picker in the message composer.
• The ability to upload, save, favorite, organize, and resend custom stickers.
• The ability to save an image from an existing conversation as a reusable sticker.
• An AI-powered "Remix" action that lets users modify an existing sticker or meme with a natural-language prompt.
• Optional, context-aware sticker use by Codex during casual or celebratory moments.

For automatic use, it would be helpful to provide a setting such as:

• Off
• Manual only
• Occasional
• Frequent

Codex should avoid automatically adding stickers in serious, sensitive, or highly technical contexts, and users should always be able to disable the feature.

Why is this useful?

Long-running agent conversations can sometimes feel mechanical, especially while waiting for tasks, celebrating a successful result, or handling a frustrating failure.

Context-appropriate stickers and memes could make Codex feel warmer, more expressive, and more like a human collaborator. Allowing users to remix existing memes with AI would also add a playful and creative dimension to the product.

This would not replace clear technical communication. It would be an optional social layer for moments where a lighter tone is appropriate.

Possible UX

• Add a sticker button beside the attachment controls.
• Provide Recent, Favorites, and Custom sections.
• Let users right-click an image and choose "Save as sticker" or "Remix with AI."
• Allow Codex to send stickers only according to the user's selected frequency.
• Include accessible alt text and avoid cluttering transcripts or exported conversations.

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by scoping the Codex desktop conversation composer and image interaction flows, then define which sticker, remix, storage, accessibility, and automatic-use behaviors are in scope before implementation; done should include an agreed design and tests for the selected behavior.
