Description
What variant of Codex are you using?
CLI
What feature would you like to see?
I was recently trying to debug codex-generated python code (using python packages) which uses procedural generation to produce 2.5d meshes. I found it a challenge to describe the problems to gpt5.6 - they were rather subtle. It would be nice to have interactive tools of some sort where we could ... interact ... on these spatial issues. i.e., I could circle the problem. Seems this could be useful for data science as well - if not generally in complex algorithm development and debug. Next set of spatial bugs I come across I will try marking up and feeding back some diagnostic plots.

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by clarifying the intended CLI interaction and how markup would be supplied with diagnostic plots; done would require an agreed scope and an implementation plan for the interactive feature.
