What feature would you like to see?

Please restore the Android home-screen widget action that opens directly into a new Codex Remote chat.

This shortcut was available on Android during the earlier Remote rollout but has since disappeared. The equivalent capability is still available on iOS.

Desired behavior:

• The ChatGPT Android widget includes a “New Remote chat” action.
• Tapping it opens Remote and starts the new-chat flow on the most recently used connected host.
• If multiple hosts need to be considered, the user can select one.
• If no host is available, Remote opens with a clear reconnect or host-selection path.

This removes several navigation steps when starting work from a phone and restores parity between Android and iOS.

Additional information

Acceptance criterion: A user can add the ChatGPT widget on Android, tap “New Remote chat,” and arrive at the Remote new-chat composer without first navigating through the main ChatGPT app.
