[Windows10] Chats deleted on ChatGPT Web remain in Codex Desktop and cannot be deleted

The conversations were deleted from ChatGPT Web first.

They are no longer visible on the web, but they continue to appear in Codex Desktop.

The affected entries cannot be opened and cannot be deleted from Codex Desktop.

I have already tried signing out and back in and reinstalling Codex Desktop, but the issue persists.

I have attached a screenshot showing the "Failed to delete chat" error.

As a temporary workaround, I moved these stale conversations into a group named "waiting for delete".

This may be related to other reports involving stale deleted conversations in Codex Desktop, such as #42236, #41880, #41693, and #39989.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1. Open ChatGPT Web.
2. Delete some existing conversations from ChatGPT Web.
3. Confirm that the conversations have been successfully deleted and no longer appear on the web.
4. Open the Codex Desktop app on Windows 10.
5. The conversations deleted from ChatGPT Web still appear in Codex Desktop.
6. Click one of these conversations. The conversation cannot be loaded.
7. Try to delete the conversation from Codex Desktop.
8. Codex shows a "Failed to delete chat" error, and the conversation remains in the sidebar.
9. Sign out and sign back in. The deleted conversations still remain.
10. Uninstall and reinstall Codex Desktop. The deleted conversations still reappear.

Temporary workaround:
I created a group called "waiting for delete" and moved these stale conversations into it because I cannot remove them.

What is the expected behavior?

When a conversation has been deleted from ChatGPT Web, Codex Desktop should synchronize that state and remove the conversation from its sidebar.

If Codex encounters a stale reference to a conversation that has already been deleted server-side, it should automatically remove the stale entry instead of leaving an undeletable conversation in the UI.
