Research direction

Start by reproducing the report with codex-cli 0.153.2 on Windows 10 using Git Bash, following the uploaded thread 01a06e54-9ab3-7900-8281-b0744659ee8b. Compare the agent's behavior after it asks for confirmation with the expected wait state; a fix is complete when it no longer continues without user input.
