Description

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

ChatGPT Work

What subscription do you have?

Plus

What platform is your computer?

Windows 11

What issue are you seeing?

I find it very disappointing that using Voice in Work appears to consume a significant amount of the usage allowance, even when no agent is actively working. Being able to talk to ChatGPT directly while working and guide agents by voice is one of the most valuable and distinctive features of Work for me. If using Voice drains the quota this quickly, I'll probably stop using it to guide agents and go back to text-only control, which would significantly reduce the value of Work for me.

Research direction

The issue names no repository files, tests, or entry points; start by investigating feedback ID no-active-thread-01a06ecd-57a6-7e13-b2df-838bc408d7ca and the reported Voice usage behavior. Done requires a confirmed reproduction and an agreed expected quota outcome, which the current report does not specify.
