What feature would you like to see?
As the feature title suggests, I have two projects: a Windows 11 WinUI 3 app and a Rust web app. For the WinUI 3 app, I want to develop in the Windows environment, while for the Rust web app, I want to use WSL2. I hope to be able to set a separate environment for each project.

Research direction
Start by reviewing how the Codex App currently selects and configures Windows and WSL2 environments. Confirm the desired project-level configuration behavior for the WinUI 3 and Rust web app examples, then verify that each project can consistently use its selected environment.
