Description
What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
26.831.21537
What subscription do you have?
Pro
What platform is your computer?
Windows 10
What issue are you seeing?
For the past few days, new chats generated by scheduled tasks in Codex Desktop for Windows have not been syncing correctly with the ChatGPT Android app.
The chats initially appear in the Android app after they are created. However, as soon as I open one to read it, the chat disappears instantly from the mobile app.
This is not an isolated or intermittent issue. It has been happening consistently since September 1st, and it affects all new chats generated by scheduled tasks.
I have installed all subsequent updates for both the Windows desktop application and the Android mobile app, but the issue still persists.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Create or run a scheduled task in Codex Desktop for Windows.
Wait for the scheduled task to generate a new chat.
Open the ChatGPT Android app.
The newly generated chat appears in the chat list.
Tap the chat to open and read it.
The chat immediately disappears from the mobile app.
What is the expected behavior?
Expected behavior:
Chats generated by scheduled tasks in Codex Desktop should remain available and synchronized across Desktop and Android.
Actual behavior:
The chat initially appears on Android but disappears immediately after being opened.
The issue is consistently reproducible and has persisted across multiple updates of both applications since September 1st.

The report names no repository files, tests, or entry points; begin by locating the scheduled-task chat creation and cross-client sync paths for Codex Desktop and Android. Reproduce the workflow in the issue and verify that a generated chat remains present and readable in Android after opening while staying synchronized.
