Pet reappears in Codex App after being removed in Settings.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
- Open Codex App.
- Go to Settings.
- Remove or disable Pet.
- Close Settings or restart/reopen Codex App.
- Check Pet again.
Expected result
Pet should remain removed/disabled after changing the setting.

Pet appears again after being removed/disabled in Settings.
