Description
After updating Codex Desktop, the Codex pet can no longer be moved onto one of my secondary displays.

I use a three-monitor setup on macOS:

  • Two regular large external displays
  • One small external display that I use specifically for keeping the Codex pet visible
Before the recent Codex Desktop update, I could freely drag the Codex pet onto the small display and leave it there.
After the update, the pet can still be moved normally between the two large displays, but it cannot be moved onto the small display.
    Expected behavior
The Codex pet should be movable to any display recognized by macOS, as it was before the update.
    Actual behavior
The pet works normally on both large displays, but refuses to stay/move onto the small secondary display.
    Important detail
This does not appear to be a macOS display configuration issue. Other application windows can be moved onto the small display normally. Only the Codex pet is affected.
Since this worked correctly before the recent update, this appears to be a regression.
    Environment
  • macOS
  • Apple Silicon Mac
  • Codex Desktop version: 26.825.51511
  • Three-display extended desktop setup
    Additional context
I have attached a photo of my monitor setup. The small display is visible in the photo and was used for the Codex pet before the update.
Image This may be related to display bounds, logical resolution/scaling, or multi-monitor coordinate handling for the pet window.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
  1. Connect three displays, including a small secondary display.
  2. Launch Codex Desktop and enable/show the Codex pet.
  3. Drag the pet between the two regular displays — this works normally.
  4. Try to drag the pet onto the small secondary display.
  5. The pet cannot be placed on that display, even though normal application windows can.
What is the expected behavior?

Research direction

Reproduce the issue with Codex Desktop 26.825.51511 on macOS using three displays, including a small secondary display, and compare the pet with normal application windows. Trace the pet window's display bounds and coordinate handling, then verify that it can be moved to and remain on every display in the setup.
