Click on a search result does not allow chat continuity anymore

What issue are you seeing?

I used to have many tasks/projects and work on it alternating between then from time to time. That's my flow 95% of time.
After a ChatGPT desktop update I cannot open and continue to work on a chat from the search window results. A click on a chat from a search result pop up, opens the chat also on a pop up. This pop up does not allow to continue on the chat workflow. To my workflow it's unaceptable.
Given the time this new way of work is active, I cannot believe it will be turned back the way it worked before.
A reasonable way, the old way, is to open the chat in the main window and allow the same workflow that with a chat opened from the chat list at the left of the window.

Open the chat in the main window, like before. Not in a useless pop up.

Start by reproducing the issue in the Windows desktop app: search for an existing chat and click a result. Compare the popup with a chat opened from the left chat list; done means the search result opens in the main window and allows the existing chat workflow to continue.
