Description
What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
OpenAI.Codex 26.825.4187.0

ChatGPT Plus
What platform is your computer?
Windows desktop, x64
What issue are you seeing?
The Codex pet can be launched and is visible on screen, but it does not respond to mouse interaction.
Moving the mouse cursor over the pet produces no hover response, and clicking it does nothing. I cannot select or interact with it.
Windows display scaling is set to 125%.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
- Open Codex on Windows.
- Launch/show the Codex pet.
- Move the mouse cursor over the pet.
- Try clicking/selecting the pet.
- There is no reaction to hover or mouse clicks.
What is the expected behavior?
The pet should detect mouse hover and allow normal mouse interaction.
Additional information
Windows display scaling is 125%.
The pet launches and remains visible, so the problem appears to concern mouse interaction / hit detection rather than the pet failing to start.

Research direction
Reproduce the Codex pet interaction issue on Windows with display scaling set to 125%, following the launch, hover, and click steps in the report. Start by locating the pet's mouse hit-testing or interaction entry point, then verify that hover and clicks work while the pet remains visible at that scale.
