Description

Summary

In Codex desktop on Windows, the Voice Chat Hotkey setting displays Ctrl+Shift+A, but voice chat is activated by Ctrl+Shift+V.

Expected behavior

The displayed Voice Chat Hotkey should match the key combination that activates voice chat.

Actual behavior

Ctrl+Shift+V activates voice chat even though Settings displays Ctrl+Shift+A.

Notes

This may indicate that the configured hotkey is not being applied, or that the Settings UI is displaying stale or incorrect state.

Environment
  • Product: Codex desktop
  • Operating system: Windows

I did not find an existing open issue for this behavior before filing.

Research direction

Reproduce the mismatch in Codex desktop on Windows, comparing the Voice Chat Hotkey setting with the shortcut that activates voice chat. No file or test is named in the issue, so trace the settings and voice-chat hotkey entry points first. Done means the displayed shortcut and the activating shortcut match.
