Description

code-mode host exited during handshake

  • OS Build 19045.6466

Windows
Codex
  • Code Integrity

Research direction

Start by reproducing a new task with a simple Get-Date invocation and collecting the codex-code-mode-host startup and handshake logs. Compare the behavior across the listed Codex versions on Windows 10 22H2, and review the reported Reliability Monitor, AppModel-Runtime, and Code Integrity evidence. Done means the handshake failure's cause or compatibility status is established and the quota-review request is addressed.
