Windows desktop: official Computer Use plugin missing from plugin directory

What issue are you seeing?

The official OpenAI Computer Use plugin does not appear in the plugin directory of the ChatGPT/Codex Windows desktop app.

Searching for "Computer Use" only returns an unrelated third-party plugin named "Vera". Therefore, the official Computer Use plugin cannot be installed, and the "Any App" control is missing from Settings > Computer Use.

The built-in browser works with Ctrl+Shift+B. The local feature flags computer_use, in_app_browser, browser_use, plugins, and remote_plugin are all enabled. Codex Doctor reports 20 OK and 0 failures.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1. Open the ChatGPT/Codex Windows desktop app.
2. Switch to Work or Codex.
3. Open Plugins.
4. Search for "Computer Use".
5. Observe that only the third-party "Vera" plugin appears and the official OpenAI Computer Use plugin is missing.
6. Open Settings > Computer Use and observe that the "Any App" control is also missing.

I fully restarted the desktop app and signed out and back into the same ChatGPT Pro account. The issue still occurs.

No active task or session is required to reproduce this issue because it occurs directly in the plugin directory UI.

What is the expected behavior?

The official OpenAI Computer Use plugin should appear in the plugin directory and be available for installation.

After installing and enabling Computer Use, the "Any App" control should appear under Settings > Computer Use, as described in the official Computer Use documentation.

Additional information

For comparison, a Plus personal account can see and install the official Computer Use plugin and has the "Any App" control. Both accounts were tested using the same VPN software, the same Thailand server, and the same protocol.

The affected Pro account is using Windows desktop app version 26.825.3734.0. The comparison account was using version 26.820.10647.0 when the feature was observed.

The app installation is healthy, core Codex commands work, and no managed configuration policy is present. An in-app feedback report has also been submitted.

Start by reproducing the issue in the Windows desktop app through Plugins and Settings > Computer Use, then compare the Pro account behavior with the Plus account described in the report. Done means the official Computer Use plugin appears in the directory and the Any App control is available after installation; the payload names no source files or tests.
