What platform is your computer?
Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26200.0 x64
What issue are you seeing?
The floating Voice orb remains always on top over a fullscreen game running through Shadow PC, but it cannot be dragged or repositioned. There is also no option to hide or minimize the Voice overlay while keeping the conversation active.
The orb stays fixed and covers part of the game interface. Voice itself continues working, and the microphone, end-call, and speaker controls remain visible. The only
reliable way to remove the overlay is to end the Voice conversation.
This makes Voice difficult to use while gaming because the overlay can permanently cover important HUD elements and action buttons.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
- Start a Voice conversation in the Codex desktop app on Windows.
- Open Shadow PC and run World of Warcraft in fullscreen.
- Observe that the floating Voice orb appears above the game.
- Press Windows + Alt + M to unlock the Shadow cursor. Shadow confirms “Cursor unlocked.”
- Left-click and drag the large white Voice orb.
- Press Windows + Alt + F to switch Shadow between fullscreen and windowed mode.
- Try dragging the Voice orb again.
Result: the orb remains fixed and does not respond to dragging in either mode.
What is the expected behavior?
The Voice orb should be draggable and repositionable on Windows, including when displayed above virtual or streamed desktops. The app should also provide a way to hide or minimize the overlay without ending the active Voice conversation.
Additional information
The issue persists after the Shadow cursor is explicitly unlocked and after switching Shadow between fullscreen and windowed modes.

Research direction
No files or tests are named. First reproduce the Windows Voice overlay behavior using the listed Shadow PC fullscreen and windowed steps, then locate the desktop Voice overlay entry point. Done means the orb can be dragged or repositioned and can be hidden or minimized while the Voice conversation remains active.
