Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable “Allow members to discover and control devices remotely” in Business workspace settings.
  2. Restart the ChatGPT macOS app and sign in again.

  4. “Allow connections” remains disabled and cannot be selected.

Expected result:
The setting should be enabled so the app can generate the pairing QR code.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Feedback ID: no-active-thread-01a045bf-0100-7c42-ba6f-0e90215c8381

What is the expected behavior?

The “Allow connections” switch should be available after remote device control has been enabled by the Business workspace Owner. Enabling it should generate a valid pairing QR code so that the Mac can be connected to the ChatGPT mobile app.

Research direction

Start at Settings > Connections > Control this Mac in the macOS app and trace how the Business workspace permission is read after sign-in and restart. Verify that the “Allow connections” switch becomes available for an enabled workspace permission and that enabling it produces a valid pairing QR code.
