Description

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

Version 26.820.60940

What subscription do you have?

Plus

What platform is your computer?

Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26200.0 x64

What issue are you seeing?

When I paste a link to Github/JIRA/Sentry, codex tries to open it in a browser and complains it doesn't have access. But this used to work perfectly and Codex automatically used a proper plugin. I'm pretty sure this worked about one week ago (around August 20th).

Now I have to explicitly tell it to use the plugin and then it mostly works. See attached screenshot.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Paste a link to some integration (Github/JIRA/Sentry) and tell Codex to interact with it.

What is the expected behavior?

It should use a plugin and do what you asked it to do.

Research direction

No source file or test is identified in the report. Reproduce by pasting a GitHub, JIRA, or Sentry link into Codex and asking it to interact with the integration; done means the appropriate plugin is selected automatically instead of opening the link in a browser, without requiring an explicit plugin instruction.
