Description
What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
26.820.60940
What subscription do you have?
Plus
What platform is your computer?
Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26200.0 x64
What issue are you seeing?
I have a conversation created in ChatGPT (desktop app), that returns a "Request failed with status 404" when I open it, and after trying to delete or archive, I get "Failed to delete chat" and "Failed to archive conversation".
What steps can reproduce the bug?
I fully quit the app, any processes, and reopened the app. I restarted my computer. I tried to remove it from the web version, but it's not in the list.
What is the expected behavior?
I click delete (or archive) and the conversation is removed from the sidebar list.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the failure in the Codex desktop app on Windows using version 26.820.60940, including opening the broken conversation and trying both delete and archive. Trace the desktop conversation-management flow and its handling of the 404 response; done means the affected conversation can be deleted or archived and disappears from the sidebar.
