Codex App forces me to re-authenticate when I open an existing conversation, and also after sending the first message in a new session

What issue are you seeing?

Since a recent update, the Codex App keeps signing me out and forcing me to log in again. It happens in two scenarios:

1.Opening an existing (old) conversation — as soon as I open a saved session, the app logs me out and returns me to the login screen, requiring me to authenticate again.
2.New conversation — even in a freshly created session, after I send just one message, the app signs me out again and I'm back at the login screen.

There is no visible error message — it does not show any clear error text; it simply redirects / kicks me back to the login page. After re-login, my previous session history still appears to be intact, but I have to authenticate every single time.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1.Launch the Codex App and sign in.
2.Either (a) open an existing conversation, or (b) start a new conversation and send a single message.
3.The app immediately signs you out and shows the login screen again.
4.Sign in again — the same behavior recurs on the next session or message.

What is the expected behavior?

The app should keep me signed in for the duration of the session and across opening existing conversations. I should not be forced to re-authenticate merely by opening an old conversation or by sending the first message.

This happens consistently, not sporadically — it is reproducible every time and does not depend on any specific conversation. The re-login loop started recently (after an update).
